Prior to starting DUO Kreative, Karmen started Kay’s Kreative Events, a full-service creative agency that specialized in corporate and nonprofit event production, branding, and marketing through content development for web design. Karmen served as the Event Director for Union Rescue Mission (URM), the oldest and largest mission providing emergency services and rehabilitation programs to people experiencing homelessness and addiction crises. While there, she was responsible for overseeing planning, development, and marketing for major fundraising events. During her tenure, URM received record donations and contributions. Karmen has dedicated much of her life to the nonprofit industry because of her passion and commitment to helping people.
